the one about badrul and ka-ching...



well, not really ka-ching lah kot... muhahaha... but the first batch of breakfast business just took off early tuesday morning... 17 packs to be exact! oh before i forgot, i want to make one announcement to muzaffar - i watched awani earlier... the debate between anuar ibrahim and the minister of information... okay... dah! i dah tengok awani! i was watching ugly betty but my dad called to ask me to switch channel... i'm not into politics but every five years, i did exercise my right to vote...

anyway...





i spent a lot of my time in the kitchen... sejak kebelakangan nih i seronok giler memasak... like the night before, i cooked the simplest food ever tapi banyak kenangan manis yang mengingatkan i to that particular dishes... early that day i pergi shopping again untuk my breakfast business and i saw anak ikan kembong *some people call it mambong* yang sungguh segar... murah pulak tuh... sekilo hanya rm2.50 jer... so i beli about sepuluh ekor which cost me only rm2... i tak payah nak fikir susah-susah macam mana nak masak... letak garam kunyit dan goreng... itu jer... a little tip to those people yang suka ikan saiz kecik, tak payah kelar sebab nanti isi dia jadi kering... another good tip that i learned, lepas letak garam pada ikan tuh, biarkan lebih kurang sepuluh minit... the salt akan keringkan air kat bahagian kulit luar ikan... so your fish will be garing on the outside tapi tender and nicely cooked inside... at the same time i masak sotong dengan cili padi dan bawang putih... memang sedap giler makan dengan nasi panas...





lunch tadi pulak i goreng udang and buat nasi goreng pedas... satu lagi bila i goreng udang garam kunyit, i takkan buang kulit... jaranglah kecuali kalau udang tuh tak berapa fresh or i nak masak different style... i cuma potong bahagian kepala sikit jer... i love udang goreng kulit garing tapi isi lembut... tersangatlah sedapnya... entah kenapa i suka pulak ambik gambar... maybe nak lepaskan geram because masa i buat food testing hari tuh tak sempat ambik gambar... muhahaha... sekarang nih bila masak jer terus capai camera atas meja and snap sekeping dua gambar...





alamak, blog i dah jadik macam blog makanan pulak... but i don't care, i like it... diddy pun tengah bercuti kejap balik kampung sebab ada hal keluarga, so i ada banyak masa to do other stuff like the breakfast business... so pagi tuesday untuk menu pertama i masak fried loh see fun! i woke up around 6.15am... nothing much to do since i have prepared all the ingredients at night... cuma tinggal nak goreng and do the packing jer... paling best, i bought this small container just to put cili dengan kicap or sambal... best giler! masak pun i boleh excited... the first order was for 15 packs tapi i buat extra sebab nak hantar two to my parents... 10 packs goes to astro, 2 packs goes to wisma genting and 3 packs goes to my sister's office in kl sentral...



i'm not doing this for a living... i cuma nak habiskan some time doing something that i love and of course dapat duit sikit untuk petrol and tolls or apa-apa yang simple... but the best thing is i got to eat breakfast for free... isn't that cool?
