i was so busy last week... in fact, i'm still busy this week... ingatkan bila dah hujung tahun nih boleh lah goyang kaki sikit... nope... makin banyak kerja ada lah... even weekend pun penuh dengan aktiviti... open house, station event, kerja, and of course, weddings... banyak betul... i think weddings are very tiring... no, not to the bride & groom and their families, but for the guests as well... nak kena pakai lawa-lawa lah... hahahahaa... nak kena carik hadiah lah... tuh tak termasuk 'angpow' lagih.... hahhahaaa... but then again, weddings are such a wonderful event... gabungan dua hati... dua jiwa... berjanji hidup bersama...

for the past few years, banyak wedding yang i dah attend, especially office-mate punya wedding... chinese wedding, malay wedding, indian wedding, sikh wedding, christian wedding, royalty wedding dan lain-lain yang sewaktu dengannya... each and everyone of it cukup indah dan cukup meninggalkan kesan... memang banyak benda yang kena diambil kira untuk menyiapkan sesuatu perkahwinan... ya lah, bagi sebahagian besar daripada kita, we just want to have it once... lainlah kalau memang niat nak pasang sampai empat macam datuk w tuh...

it's not an easy task... nope... masa bercinta tuh nampak mudah jer... tapi bila nak kahwin, macam-macam perkara kena fikirkan... kena pilih tarikh yang sesuai... kalau nak buat kat rumah, kena fikir pasal khemah, makanan, pelamin, makeup dan sebagainya... kalau nak buat kat hotel pun lebih kurang jugak... budget lagih, berapa ramai tetamu dan sebagainya... makanan pulak nak kena tau, western ker, chinese ker, malay ker... semua nak kena ambil kira... saudara-mara nak kena jemput, so kad jemputan nak kena siapkan... kalau tak jemput nanti ada yang merajuk hati... baju kahwin nak kena tempah... tak pun nak kena sewa... nak berapa persalinan... dan macam-macam lagih lah...

all in all, wedding is such a huge thing! nope, i don't believe in elope... or nikah kat masjid jer... i want it to be something that i will remember forever... it doesn't have to be with thousands of guests... it doesn't have to be in the most expensive place... but it has to be beautiful... it has to be wonderful... and it has to be memorable (at least for me)...

i think sampai sekarang nih, the most memorable wedding yang i pernah attend was joanne's wedding... masa tuh i baru balik dari europe... sampai pagi, petang tuh terus attend joanne's wedding... too bad i takda gambar nak tunjuk, but i remember the wedding macam it was held yesterday... the setting was beautiful... petang, matahari nak terbenam and all around it was this beatiful... gorgeous... golden color...everyone was in their finest jackets and evening gowns... rose petals were on the walkway... and romantic love songs were playing all night... it was just beautiful! macam in the movie!

but again, to me, all weddings are beautiful... i'm sure each and everyone of us (especially yang belum kahwinlah) mesti fikirkan tentang our dream wedding... well, let me tell you this, to all ladies out there... we men, do think about the wedding too... maybe not as elaborate, but as much... we want it to be beautiful too but not too complicated (nope, tak mau sampai tujuh persalinan... hahahahahaa...) we want something that we can treasure and remember forever, not something that we can show-off to other friends or relatives... we want something nice and affordable, not something yang kita terpaksa bayar hutang sampai ke cucu cicit...
