i am truly blessed with great friends, wonderful family and job that i love so much... yup, dalam apa jua kehidupan yang kita lalui pun, mesti ada ups and downs kan... takda yang perfect, but we have to take the opportunity that is given to us, and use it to the fullest... waahhhhh, macam kelas psychology plak... hahahaha...

walaupun this year tak habis lagi, but i have a wonderful time sampai hari nih... and hopefully untuk hari-hari yang mendatang jugak... this year memang exceptional... i kenal dengan ramai kawan-kawan baru... sama ada dah bertentang mata atau pun tidak, we jadi clique yang click! for example, wink (well, one of the example lah...) langsung tak pernah jumpa... tapi pernah tengok gambar, dan cuma pernah cakap telefon... but, i know i can count on him when i need help... kalau nak sebutkan satu persatu nama kat sini, memang susah, sebab i met tons of great people!!! you know who you are... but i do have to thank sultanmuzaffar for the opportunity to meet all these beautiful people... juga everyone from paris II... kasih sayang yang tak berbelah bagi...

early this year i dapat new boss... andrew sidwell a.k.a. bag, mat saleh from australia... i'm quite excited about it, sebab this guy menang banyak awards around the world... creative awards for radio commercials... eh, bercakap pasal radio commercials nih, leen... i hear you.. hahahaaha... i know i get annoyed with 'that radio commercial' as well... nasib baik that one is our competitor punya station hahahaa... ok, back to the story mory... walau pun excited, at the same time, takut gak... maklumlah, my england nih bukannyer 'powderful' sangat... nanti dia cakap lain, i faham lain, mahu haru-biru jadi nyer...

but i'm so lucky... dia nih boleh terima pandangan, boleh terima kritikan dan paling best, dia respect our cultures... i work very hard to be where i am now, and he knows it... banyak benda baru yang belajar dari dia... to top it all (macam icing on the cake lah) bulan july lalu, for the first time dalam masa empat tahun nih, i menang awards for my radio commercials, not one, but three awards!!!! waahhh, bangganya!!! jangan kata lubang hidung, semua lubang pun kembang... hahahahhaaa... lepas tuh, early september pulak one of my commercials was in the finalist for mc2 awards, which judges dia from all over the world!!! i'm so happy... dan malam 1 october nih pulak ada kancil awards... semoga ada rezeki untuk menang sesuatu... tapi kalau takda rezeki, takpalah... insyaAllah, tahun depan cuba lagi...
another great news was, i received my promotion early this month! well, my boss told me about the promotion earlier, tapi on the day he sent out email to everyone in the company, i was on medical leave... bila masuk bertimbun-timbun sms to congratulate me, i pun check lah my email box... honestly, i cried! i cried so hard bila baca apa yang my boss tulis about me... so, i want to share his email with all my friends here and i pray to god that you guys will have my kind of boss as well...

It gives me great pleasure to announce the promotion of Badrul Hashim effective immediately.
Do not be confused, when you are in a Creative your job is to behave differently. To challenge the obvious, to seek better
information in order to create the new and unique. We don't wear suits because they're uncomfortable, we keep funny
hours because our idea's like our brains don't switch off at 5.30pm or turn on at 9am.
We don't see ourselves as typists regurgitating client self engrossed babble. We see ourselves as purveyors
of the process of recombination and variation known as creativity.
We get fired up when we get bullied to follow a direction we know isn't as good as it possibly could be for our client.
Like you we are proud and passionate about our work.
We may not articulate our frustrations in the normal way, but if you really, really listen to the essence of what we're saying
you'll hear this message every time.
"We want this to work for our clients and we know our knowledge, talent, and belief will give it the edge to cut
through, be remembered, retained and acted upon. Please listen and take heed of our advice."
No one embodies this spirit of the Creative more than Badrul.
Please congratulate the "bad man" on his ascendancy to a role he absolutely deserves.
