'gosshhhh! you are so weird!' 'hahahahaha… funny lah u nih!' u are such a good listener!' benda-benda yang my friends selalu cakap kat i... yup... they all were referring to me!!! and yup, i’m going to be a little bit vain... talking about myself... hahahaha...

i have to agree… kadangkala, the way i look at things memang weird… ramai jugak yang tak faham, but some can accept it... well, that is how i choose to look at things, that is how i want it to be... as simple as that kan…

and one thing about friendship and trust... bila i kenal seseorang tuh, i gave them 100% trust... (one of the thing yang buat my friends cakap i’m weird) and it work backwards... meaning, bila dah lama-lama, and bila ada something wrong, i tolak-tolak lah... turun jadi 98% less and less after that... kalau orang lain, dia mesti naik-naik kan... gain trust kata dia orang lah... but for me, it’s the other way around...

i’m also not shy with my feelings... i laugh openly… i cry when i need to... in front of anyone? yup... kalau ada orang cakap orang lelaki tak menangis, well f... it! senang jer kan... to me, all of us have the right to do anything we want as long as we know what is right and what is wrong... and only crazy people cakap crying is wrong... hahahaha...

satu lagi, i’m very punctual... always, always on time... i tak suka buat orang tunggu, and i expect the same treatment too... but surprisingly, i can tolerate someone like kudsia who is always fashionably late... hahahhaaa... maybe because i’ve known her for so long... again, this thing only involve acara yang formal-formal jer... macam kalau nak attend meeting, or wedding, or specific appointment... but, kalau setakat pergi makan ker, keluar tengok wayang, or jalan-jalan jer, i tak kisah sangat... yang tuh, boleh laser kan jer... (macam wink dengan meesua kena tuh) hahahhaaa... and i cannot stand people mungkir janji... to me, janji is some special thing for us, human being, to honour... kalau kita tak boleh, cakap tak boleh... tak payah janji yang bukan-bukan...

i am very loud! sebatu dah boleh dengar my voice... maybe because our family is big, we tend to speak louder to be heard... Hahahaha... and i tend to speak too much when i’m nervous...

walaupun i suka cakap banyak, at the same time, i’m a good listener too... and i love to give advice, walaupun yang karut-marut... Hahahahaa… kalau tak percaya, boleh tanya makcik mimi, masa dia mengandung tuh, apa yang i advised dia untuk menghilangkan morning sickness… hahahahha... good old days...

and last but not least, i care a great deal about my friends... everyone is special in their own way...

the one with badrul backpacking around europe...

aarrrrgghhhhh!!! tension nyer… hahahah… waahh, mesti ramai yang terkejut kan… bukak ayat jer terus menjerit… well, sebenarnya i bengang sikit sebab beratus-ratus gambar trip to europe hilang begitu sajer bila my laptop crashed last year… ‘sapa suruh tak buat back-up?’ I’m sure most of you were asking the same question… masalahnya, dah back-up dalam external hard disc… yang tuh pun kena virus gak bila my lop kena virus… anyway, tak guna sedih lagih dan nasib baik banyak jugak gambar yang dah print…

well, sebab nak letak sebanyak mungkin gambar, so tak maulah story mory panjang sangat kan… but, just a little background, plan I dengan shonny mula-mula tuh just nak pergi tengok pyramids, tapi entah macam mana, ia berkembang ke stonehenge, lepas tuh, ke europe.. konon-konon nak buat ‘the seven wonders of the world’ lah…hahahahaa… takpalah, dah lama giler tak berjalan, so, I grabbed the opportunity to visit seberapa banyak negara as possible… pergi masa winter pulak tuh… gian nak main salji… hahahaa…

I don’t know if we started off our journey with the wrong foot or what, tapi masa transit kat Singapore lagih, we lost our winter jackets… wuuaagghhh…. Mahal pulak tuh beli… tapi nak buat macam mana kan, dah takda rezeki… puas jugak lah tried to convince shonny, that it was not a bad sign…

macam biasa, kalau datang london nih, mesti buckingham palace kan… hahahaha… pastu jalan-jalan window shopping…. perhhhh… semuanya mahal… masuk harrods beli coklat jer… hahahaha… tu pun makan sikit-sikit, sebab mahal giler… pergi greenwich, pergi soho (ehem), pergi rata-rata lah, including stonehenge… sejuknya, tuhan saja yang tahu…

how was rotterdam masuk plak? hahahahaa… memang lawak ceriternya… dari London, kita naik train to brussels and patutnya tukar train kat sana nak ker amsterdam… so dalam kelam kabut tuh (pendek kan ceriter lah nih) train tuh sampai ker rotterdam… mati-mati ingat amsterdam.. hahahaa.. maklumlah, dah lewat malam sampai sana (about 9.00pm during winter)… walaupun rasa weird jer, sebab selalu dengar orang ceriter, keluar jer train station kat amsterdam, terus jumpa sex museum… hahahahaa… nak tak nak, bermalam jugaklah di rotterdam…

from amsterdam, naik train gak, terus pergi paris… masa nih dah dekat nak raya dah… sayu giler dalam hati… seperti biasa, jadik tourist kan… pergi notre dame and of course lah eiffel tower… masa hari raya, menangis teresak-esak… pastu untuk ‘makan raya’, pergi makan nasi kat restoran cina… lauk telur dadar and some vegetable soup… sob… sob… sob…

sekali lagi berlaku misunderstanding… hahahahaa… patutnya kita naik train ke lucerne, switzerland, tapi entah macam mana, pergi ke luasanne… hahahahahhaa… nasib baik orang kat train station kat luasanne tuh friendly giler, terus jer dapat naik another train to lucerne…

sampai kat venice, pening jugaklah nak carik hotel sebab jalan-jalan darat dia tuh kecik giler… more like lorong lah… mula-mula tuh berangan jugak nak naik gondola, tapi bila dah sampai rm300 ringgit, baik balik malaysia naik sampan… hahahaa… so, kita orang naik water bus jer lah.. hahahaha… to me, venice is a very romantic place to be…

masa nih, I think orang italy semua nih ada yang nak sibuk balik kampung dah sebab masa naik train from venice to pisa tuh, pack giler train… we have to stand for about 2 hours… dengan tourist yang back-packing besar-besar (including us)… but the good news was, masa kita sampai kat pisa tuh, first time it was open to the public lepas lama tutup untuk baik-pulih… so kita antara orang yang bertuahlah to be antara the first people yang naik sampai ke atas…

we reached rome on christmas eve… so, kelam kabut jugaklah nak carik hotel… mula-mula tuh, ada one guy beria-ria nak tunjukkan hotel… sceptical jugaklah, but it turns out, dia memang kerja tuh… very efficient yek… siap bawak pergi hotel lagi and tak mintak bayaran pun… we also visited vatican city… the smallest country in the world… macam court tennis jer… hahahahaa…

so sad… I don’t have pictures in my laptop… yang print out ada lah… actually, from rome, we travelled to brindisi, and naik big ship to cross over to athens… we celebrated new year kat Athens… they actually have a big celebration sebab masa tuh duit dia orang kena tukar euro…

sampai cairo from athens, we were so tired dah… letih giler… so, we decided, for the first time during this trip, kita pakai tourist guide… quite expensive, but memang dah tak tahan dah… so, with tourist guide, we don’t have to worry about language barrier… our tourist guide nama dia ali, and cakap orang putih macam american… wwaahhh… anyway, banyaklah tempat yang pergi, including naik kuda keliling pyramids…

the one when badrul does the blog hopping...

this week is such a busy week... kerja bertimbun-timbun and on top of that, kena attend meeting lah, lunch appointment lah, recording lah dan macam-macam lagi... in fact, on thursday and friday, i won't be in the office until petang sebab kena attend training... 'estill voice craft'... petang pun terpaksa datang balik ke office sebab kena buat recording... waahhhh, mengalahkan adun pulak busy nyer...

anyway, entah macam mana, the early part of today (wednesday), i was having a major mental-block... my mind refused to think, refused to function, refused to participate... dah lah ada meeting pukul 8.30 pagi... so, habis jer meeting, i turun bawah and have breakfast, then i melepak kat jurassic park (jp)... jp nih tempat orang kat office nih hisap rokok...

after awhile, bosanlah pulak kan... so, naik atas, mengadap my laptop... that was when i did the blog hopping... kira-kiranya macam islands hopping jugaklah kan... hahahaha... so, sajalah nak share dengan sesiapa yang sudi baca, tentang some of my blog yang i pergi... oh, before i lupa, i need to give credit mention to my friend, shonny... well, most of the pix you see here kat my blog nih, dia yang ambil... macam professional photographer kan... some pix tuh i ambil sendiri, but mostly lainnya shonny lah...

ok, blog yang selalu i 'melepak' ialah blog linb the reason i selalu melepak di sini kerana ramai kengkawan yang selalu ada kat sinih... linb bercerita pasal semua perkara... nih kira macam kebun pisanglah tempat orang melepak... kenapa kebun pisang? well, i think because asalnya linbanana... so kira pisanglah kot... hahahahaa... they talk about almost everything, and don't be shy to talk to them... all of them are very, very friendly... tapi kalau you ketawa sampai nak putus urat perut, please don't say i didn't warned you...

walaupun dia dah secara officialnya berehat sehingga tahun depan, i still visit 'rumah' sultanmuzaffar untuk melepaskan kerinduan... hahahahaha... well, di sini mostly semuanya bermula... i will not forget that... i can't... berkenalan dengan ramai rakan-rakan yang, sebahagiannya even dah jadi kawan baik... close friends... i guess i will still hop over here once in awhile...

rumah yati pun i selalu jenguk... mungkin jarang bertenggek di tingkap rumah y, tapi i sangat suka gaya penulisan y especially masa dia buat tribute to af2 student yang kena kick out... memang sesiapa yang baca, mesti meleleh air mata (me, guilty as charged!), atau sekurang-kurangnya, kempas kempes jugaklah hidung tuh menahan sebak... tapi selalu jugak i ketawa terbahak-bahak kerana kadangkala tulisan y cukup sinis dan entertaining... kalau you tak pernah baca,i recommend you check it out...

leen is another cool person! best sesangat baca yang dia tulis... every details buat you rasa you ada kat situ jugak... the latest post makes me realised, semua orang melalui kepayahan dalam hidup... *hugs* leen... tell me more, leen... love to hear (or read) about how you look at life, or whatever... or whatever... i love it...

thanks to y, i jumpa blog someone yang i really care... she's like a sister to me... shamina... well, that's her 'cyber' name i guess... orang yang selalu berikan i nasihat, orang yang selalu berikan i pandangan, dan orang yang i sangat respect... to kak n, alang, alyne, alia, shai, achik, mimi, tiesya dan sesiapa sahaja dari paris dulu, do visit your sister here... (i'm in tears as i wrote this part) miss you so much, kak rose...

seronok jugak kalau menjengah rumah shay ... maklumlah, baru mendirikan masjid nih, memanjang ada ceriter mr. hubby... hahahaaa... the truth is, ramai betul kawan-kawan i yang pandai bercerita their story... sometime it's just about nothing, but it's so interesting...

the one with badrul feeling blue...

susah kan... i realised one thing... when you jot down something, you will also give away your personal feelings... like it or not, you can't help it... apatah lagi, when you created something so personal like this kind of blog... you tend to share your life with anyone yang come across your blog... friends or strangers... people who will judge you or who will accept you for who you are...

the thing is, memang sesuatu yang sukar untuk berhadapan dengan orang yang mementingkan diri sendiri... apatah lagi, orang tersebut adalah orang yang kita sendiri sayangi... it's not an easy task! but for me, i've learned to be selfish! i want to be happy first, before i gembirakan orang lain... i want to be able to smile first before i make others smile... i want to laugh first, i want to have fun first... i want to be the first to have these feelings... i'm not going to sacrifice myself and expect nothing in return... nope... itu badrul yang dulu... bukan badrul yang sekarang... badrul yang dulu sering meletakkan perasaan orang lain di hadapan... tapi badrul yang sekarang ingin merasainya dahulu, kalau tidakpun, merasainya bersama...

i've gone through the most difficult time in my life... losing someone that i really love... seperti yang farah kata dalam commercial 'tapi... tuhan lagi sayangkan mama...' i learned about life in the most hard way, possible to human kind... jatuh tersungkur dan terpasak di bumi... merangkak mencari arah tujuan dan beranggapan bahawa kematian adalah jalan penyelesaian... pedih, perit, luka, dan segala-galanya terangkum dalam satu detik...

but life goes on... untuk kita semua yang masih hidup, kita mesti teruskan... lihat sekeliling... ayah, ibu, abang, kakak, adik, anak-anak yang masih memerlukan kita... kadangkala, melihat dunia dari pandangan orang lain adalah jalan yang terbaik untuk kita menilai perjalanan hidup kita... i also believe, kalau kita rasa hidup kita susah, ada orang lain yang lagi susah...

dan tuhan memang adil dan saksama... i've found someone who loves me for who i am, respects me, trusts me and the most important thing, accepts me as an individual... and along the way, i've met some of the most beautiful friends that anyone can have... terlalu ramai, who have touches my life in so many wonderful ways that they themselves could not even imagine...

i feel a little lonely today, though... ada rasa sedikit kekosongan, ada rasa sedikit kehilangan, ada rasa sedikit kehampaan... tidak berapa pasti kenapa... but i think mostly because salah seorang rakan baik decided to stop doing what he knows best... again, i respect his decision and i wish him the best of luck untuk apa jua yang dia ingin lakukan... yang penting, dia lakukannya untuk kebaikan dirinya... i hope...

well, maybe i will call this post 'a royal tribute'... yup, maybe that's what i should call it...

the one when badrul celebrated his birthday...

talking about going for seafood this coming weekend with bunch of friends triggered my memory on the day i celebrated my birthday... it was years ago, but the memory stick in my mind like it was just yesterday... oh ya, before i sambung cerita, someone tanya about 'the type' of my blog... ya lah kan, kita ada blog kebun pisang, blog sm, blog entertainment, blog itu dan blog ini... and leen pernah mention pasal blog nih blog friends... yup, i have to agree with leen.. blog nih adalah blog friends... tapi i won't call it central perks, i promise... hahahahaa...

ok, back to the story... masa tuh i ingat, ada small friction in the office... orang nih tak tahan cara orang tuh bekerja, orang nih bitchy lah, orang tuh slow lah... macam-macam... kalau dulu we all selalu keluar sama-sama, very helpful with each other, but because of work pressure, ramai yang tak berapa sehaluan... i was upset too, so i've decided to do something about it... and what was more appropriate than to celebrate my birthday...

i hantar invitation via email to about 30 people in the office... mula-mula tuh, only about 10 people yang reply ok... i was quite upset, so i used the most powerful weapon ever - 'threat'... hahahah.. i told them 'this gonna be the last time i will celebrate my birthday, and if you miss this, there will be no more...' hahahaa...

in the end, lebih dari 30 orang yang pergi... yahooo.. 7, 8 buah kereta convoy ramai-ramai from office... me, shonny, kudsia, farahbi, anita, jezamin, jasmin, sonia, tina, jeanne, amy, naomi, seelan, carol, siti, alfred, rostam, julie, kevin, jeya, clifford, neal, aaron, erin bin bin, ee ling, ian, david, edmund, willie, rheece, nila, season, terence, hafiz, norra and boy...

the dinner...

it was wonderful! thinking about that night, i get goose-bumps (hey, other than on top of my head yang botak nih, i got hairs somewhere else too, k)... everyone was having fun... singing birthday song as loud as possible, splashing water to each other, or me to be exact... plus tons of marmite crabs (with eggs), chilli crabs, buttered prawns, singapore mee hoon, fishes, mantis prawns, and some sayur stuff to feed the hungry mouth and empty stomach...

seriously, i tak kisah sangat dengan hadiah tuh, but, the most wonderful gift ever was, whole bunch of my friends sit together, makan sama-sama, enjoy each other's company and for once, put aside any differences...

i always believe, kadang-kadang, a simple gesture will be able change the whole world...what a night... yup... what a night!

the one when badrul was almost speechless... well, almost...

oh my god!!! what can i say? well, alhamdulillah.. alhamdulillah... alhamdulillah... syukur ke hadrat Illahi... macam-macam dalam fikiran sekarang, tak tahu nak tulis apa dulu...

anyway, i think semua nih berkat doa keluarga dan rakan-rakan... baru jer malam tadi posting pasal my promotion and about winning awards and cakap pasal kancil awards... and about half an hour ago, i won two merit awards for copywriting in kancil awards! yup, not one, but two!!!! alhamdulillah! dalam sejarah being in creative khasnya dan advertising industry amnya, this is the first time in my life that i have received such a high recognition!!!

for those yang mungkin tak familiar, kancil awards is the crème de la crème of advertising awards in malaysia...

i won for community service untuk hari ibu, title 'tinggalkan pesanan' and 'peluang'... both yang i sibuk email kan to everyone yang mintak nak dengar today... i'm so happy! i am... and thank you to all yang mendoakan kejayaan i... thank you to all yang believe in me... thank you! thank you! thank you!

now, badrul is totally speechless...
