american idol front row...giler tension!!! sebenarnyer i dah buat posting about american idol season 8 last night... dah habis tulis tengah nak edit tuh tiba-tiba i salah edited and all my posting hilang... lepas tuh pulak dia ada draft autosaved so teruslah kosong posting tuh... malas giler nak betulkan i just biarkan jer lah... last night tuh buat posting konon-konon nak predict lah siapa yang dapat masuk top 12 from the second semifinal round...
alexis grace... my favourite from the first semifinal round...
anyway, up until now i was pretty amazed with the season 8... giler punya susah nak dapat masuk top 12... dah lah banyak giler amazing talents this year... actually bukan nak bandingkan secara direct american idol and our own reality shows yang dah makin banyak nih, tapi we have pretty good talents around here as well... maksud i tak bandingkan secara direct ialah macam kalau kita pergi london, kita tak bolehlah nak kira harga secawan kopi satu pound tuh sama dengan enam ringgit duit kita... memanglah rasa mahal... tapi kalau kita anggap secawan kopi harga satu pound sama dengan secawan kopi kat sinih harga satu ringgit baru adil lah... muhahaha... alamak, susah giler nak explain... so again like i said, kita pun ada pretty amazing talents...

apa yang bagus this season ialah dorang introduce another judge kara dioguardi... even though the rumours kata the reason they introduce new judge was to take over paula abdul's place once her contract expired lepas habis season nih... tak tau lah betul ker tidak... but i hope not lah... i do like paula walaupun ada masa macam sedih sikit komen dia, tapi she always see the positive thing in people... muhahaha... like the other day dia tak tau macam mana nak comment, dia focus to the girl's legs... cakap she has beautiful legs... muhahahaha... but at least takder lah sampai tak nampak satu kebaikan pun kan...

i memang tengah giler dengan american idol season 8 nih... setakat nih i belum miss one show pun including masa audition rounds... i actually realised satu benda yang sangat bagus tentang american idol... it's how they edit the show... editing dier memang superb habis... i think tuh merupakan kelemahan kebanyakan rancangan realiti kat malaysia nih... tak tau lah sama ada orang-orang kita takder banyak pengalaman in term of editing reality shows or kalau orang-orang kita tak cukup masa or tak cukup peralatan terkini to do the editing... mungkin satu hari nanti bila kita boleh improve editing, kita akan buat penonton-penonton kita tak berganjak menonton rancangan kita... anyway, editing is a part of it lah... bukan semuanya...
anoop... another slumdog / underdog millionaire?
okay, iklan kejap... sekarang nih masa tengah update blog nih i tengok one in a million... amylea baru habis nyanyi... tema minggu nih 'memori tercipta'... i feel sad with their choice of songs... setakat yang i tengok nih kecuali amylea, semua pilih lagu untuk orang tuh lah orang nih lah... memang tuh lah yang dikehendaki oleh tema tapi please lah, you can just made it up for all that i care... how would i know about your dad's favourite song pun kan? so pilih jer lah lagu apa-apa pun... the most important thing to do is to choose the right song to showcase your vocal... but banyak yang salah pilih lagu lama yang dah beratus dan beribu kali dinyanyikan sampai kalau buat macam mana pun will not sound that much different from the original... why do you have to choose 'getaran jiwa' or 'my way'? gosshhh!!! semua tak sound relevant and current... okay, iklan dah habis... i think i have to do one proper posting for one in a million... muhahaha...

back to the american idol season 8... first round of semi-final, i teka dua daripada tiga dengan tepat... my favourite from the first round was alexis grace! i think persembahan dia memang memukau giler... of course the second one was danny gokey... memang dari awal lagih dia ada kelebihan... not just in term of vocal tapi jugak tv time... so banyaklah kelebihannya... i think he was good when he sang 'hero' but belum sampai buat i giler terpegun macam masa david cook nyanyi lagu 'always be my baby', also from the same singer... my third choice was actually ricky braddy kalau nak dibandingkan dengan michael sarver tapi i tak kisah sangat... i hope that ricky and another contestant anoop will make it to the wild card round...

second round of semifinal yang baru keluar result tadi petang pun i dapat teka dua daripada tiga... tapi sebenar nyer the third one pun masuk dalam list jugak sebab ramai yang bagus... of course my first choice was adam lambert... theatrical or not, his performance memang mengagumkan... that was a serious talent!! the 16 year old allison iraheta pun someone to watch out too... cuma personality belum keluar lagih but in time it will... boleh nampak... my other choice was actually megan corkrey... i think she is so unique and talented and so damn pretty... kris allen was my fourth choice so kira okay lah jugak... hopefully megan will make it to the wild card round together with mishovanna who i think should be given another chance...

yeah! yeah! yeah! amylea dapat immunity! she deserve it! dier sorang jer yang sound current compare to the rest... lama giler nak tulis posting nih sampai habis one in a milion pun posting nih belum habis lagih... muhahaha... i think that was an excellent idea to introduce the immunity system... sayang kalau ada orang yang betul-betul perform best tapi tak dapat banyak vote terkeluar... anyway, back to the american idol... i betul-betul tak faham kenapa people like tatiana and nick mitchell @ normund gentle are in the top 36... ramai giler lagi yang more talented... both should masuk america got talent or any other reality show... thank god both tak masuk top 12... kalau tak, it will be a joke lah... maybe before this dorang nak kasi kontroversi sikit kot... but still kesian kat another two person yang betul-betul deserve to be in the top 36 more than these two... okaylah, tak sabar nak tunggu the third round of semifinal next week...

and back to our local reality show, akademi fantasia musim ketujuh dah nak start dah... i heard that the top 20 dah dipilih and dah register last tuesday... the top 12 will be chosen by the end of this week... oh wait, it's already the end of the week... i think by sunday kot... and if i'm not mistaken by tuesday next week they will reveal the top 12 to everyone... hopefully this time around yang terpilih bukan sahaja boleh menyanyi tetapi ada full package to suit our entertainment market... enough with using the students' background to create apa jugak controversial issues... carilah idea baru... nak tengok jugak apakah transformasi dan reformasi af7 yang dorang canang-canangkan sekarang nih... i will be involved secara tak langsung dengan af7 but nanti lah i ceritakan...
